Alpy: Frequently Asked Questions

What was Alpy called before?

Alpy traded as ALPINRESORTS.com before the rebrand and runs the same booking platform for ski and snowboard rental. The domain alpy.com now carries the service.

How many shops can you book?

Alpy lists more than 1,150 partner rental shops in over 450 European resorts, including Austrian ski areas. You collect the gear from the local shop you selected.

Who is the platform best for?

Alpy suits skiers who want to compare several shops inside one resort on price, walking distance and included services before booking. It is less useful if you already have a preferred shop.

Can you book lessons too?

Alpy also operates an online reservation system for ski school lessons across the Alpine region, so gear and instruction can be arranged in one session.

How does it compare with SNOWELL?

Alpy carries the larger partner network at over 1,150 shops, while SNOWELL lists about 600 shops but publishes Austrian child and depot pricing in detail. Both are intermediaries rather than shop owners.
