Der Schwarzacher: Frequently Asked Questions
Who is it for?
Der Schwarzacher suits skiers who want a seated meal and a drink at the end of the day instead of a standing party with live music.
Where is it?
It sits at the valley station of the Unterschwarzachbahn in Hinterglemm, which puts Der Schwarzacher directly on the route back into the village.
How does it compare with Goasstall?
Goasstall is a barn party that opens at 13:00 and runs late, while Der Schwarzacher is a restaurant first and a much quieter apres-ski option.
Should I book?
A table reservation is sensible at Der Schwarzacher in peak weeks, because the Skicircus counts more than 60 huts and restaurants but the valley-floor ones fill between 19:00 and 21:00.
