Ski Dome Oberschneider: Frequently Asked Questions
Who should book with this Kaprun ski school?
Ski Dome Oberschneider works best for families staying in Kaprun, since its base at Ski Dome I sits in the village centre and children's courses use BOBO's Kinderland on the Lechnerberg. Childcare, lift tickets and rental are sold at the same counter.
Is rental included in the lesson price?
Children's rental is free with a booking at Ski Dome Oberschneider, and adults hire from the attached Intersport Oberschneider shop. The lift pass is not included in group or private lesson prices, so add the cost of a Ski ALPIN CARD or a Kitzsteinhorn ticket.
Can beginners start on any day?
Beginner entry at Ski Dome Oberschneider is usually limited to Sundays and Mondays because courses begin on those days. Intermediate and advanced children can join Monday to Friday and adults on Monday or Tuesday, and the school suggests contacting it directly for an individual solution.
How does it differ from the Zell am See school?
Ski Dome Oberschneider teaches on the Kaprun side at the Maiskogel and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, while the Ski & Snowboardschule Zell am See works the Schmittenhöhe above the lake. The split matters because transfers between the two mountains eat into lesson time.
Is there a discount for booking early?
Ski Dome Oberschneider advertised savings of up to 10 percent for online bookings when checked on 15 September 2026. The saving applies to courses booked in advance rather than walk-ins at the counter.
