Snow Card Tirol: Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Snow Card Tirol cost for 2026/27?
Snow Card Tirol costs EUR 1,227 for adults at the regular tariff and EUR 1,080 in the presale that runs from 26 September to 31 October 2026. That presale rate is the only reduced tariff, and there is no family discount on top of it.
Who does this card make sense for?
Snow Card Tirol suits Tyrol residents, second-home owners and skiers who return repeatedly through the season, since it is valid from 1 October 2026 and covers the glacier areas that open first. A visitor on a single week will not recover EUR 1,080 against a six-day area ticket.
Where is it not valid?
Snow Card Tirol is not accepted in Ski Arlberg, is not valid on the Hungerburgbahn in Innsbruck, and cannot be used in Ischgl on concert days. On the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn it covers only the up and down ride, not the Zugspitzplatt ski area.
Can I buy it online?
No. Snow Card Tirol is not sold online and must be bought at an authorised sales point, for example the SkiWelt ticket offices, which sell it from 26 September to 31 October 2026 during the presale period.
How does it compare with the SuperSkiCard?
Coverage under Snow Card Tirol is wider, roughly 4,000 kilometres across Tyrol against 2,843 kilometres in the SuperSkiCard network, but flexibility is worse because only a season format is offered. The SuperSkiCard adds day-count options such as the 10-day flexi pass.
