SPORT 2000 Rankl: Frequently Asked Questions
Where does this shop sit relative to the lifts?
SPORT 2000 Rankl is listed under Schladming-Planai, so it serves skiers starting from the Planai side rather than the Hochwurzen gondola in Rohrmoos.
How much does hire cost?
SPORT 2000 Rankl prices through the SPORT 2000 rent network, which uses tiered ski categories and multi-day rate bands. Rates are reset each season, so check the shop's own listing for winter 2026/27 before booking.
Is it a good fallback during peak weeks?
Yes. When the biggest Planai base store runs out of a boot shell size, SPORT 2000 Rankl is the nearest same-area alternative, which matters in the February half-term fortnight.
Can you reserve online?
Reservations for SPORT 2000 Rankl are handled on the network's booking site, with collection and fitting completed in the shop on arrival.
What equipment level should beginners take?
Beginners on the wide groomed runs of the 123 km area do not need the top tier. The entry or mid category at SPORT 2000 Rankl is easier to turn and costs less per day.
What do Google Maps visitors say about SPORT 2000 Rankl?
SPORT 2000 Rankl visitors on Google Maps often mention: "And every year at Sport 2000 because they are the best there."
