VIP Skipass: Frequently Asked Questions

Who can buy this pass?

The VIP Skipass is sold only on presentation of a valid Ischgl or Mathon guest card, which hotels and apartments in those two villages issue to their guests. Visitors staying elsewhere buy the Silvretta tariff instead.

What does it cover?

VIP Skipass holders can use 46 lifts and cable cars across the Ischgl and Samnaun sides of the Silvretta Arena, plus night winter sports events such as night tobogganing, with toboggan hire charged separately.

Do children ski free?

On the VIP Skipass, children under 10 travel free when accompanied by a parent, and the youth rate applies from 10 to under 17 years of age. Photo identification is required for any age discount.

When is it cheapest?

The VIP Skipass has discounted specials from 26 November to 18 December 2026 and from 3 April to 2 May 2027, the START and FIRN bands. Prices can still change on concert dates.

Does it include the other Paznaun areas?

Only partly. The six-day VIP Skipass allows up to two of its days to be used in Galtür, while full access to Galtür, Kappl and See requires the Silvretta tariff.
