Therme Loipersdorf Prices 2026: Tickets and Discounts

As of September 2026, Therme Loipersdorf prices its areas separately. The adults-only Schaffelbad starts at EUR 61 for a day and EUR 38 after 16:00, while the directory Thermencheck lists the Thermen- und Erlebnisbad day card, Saunadorf included, at EUR 46. Weekends, public holidays and Austrian school holidays sit in the higher tariff band. Guests of partner hotels take 15 percent off day and evening tickets.

What does a day at Therme Loipersdorf cost in 2026?

Pricing follows the bathing area, not the visitor. One ticket covers the Thermen- und Erlebnisbad together with the Saunadorf and the Fun Park slides. The adults-only Schaffelbad is charged on its own line, and the operator directory thermen.at lists day entry from EUR 61 and an evening card from EUR 38 for adults (checked 25 September 2026). The Schaffelbad rate also carries entry to the Thermen- und Erlebnisbad, so it is an upgrade rather than a second purchase.

For the family side, the spa directory Thermencheck lists the day card at EUR 46.00. Treat that as an indicative figure: the ticket shop quotes live rates per date, because tariffs move with the calendar. Ticket types on the shop sitemap include a 4-hour card, an evening card and a full day card, each sold with the Saunadorf included.

Which cards and discounts actually cut the price?

Four routes to a lower price are documented by the operator or by regional tourism boards. Steiermark-Card holders get 30 percent off the day card for the Thermen- und Erlebnisbad. Burgenland Card holders get 20 percent off the adult day card including the Saunadorf. Stay overnight in a listed partner hotel and the ticket shop applies a 15 percent partner discount to all day and evening entries.

Seasonal offers stack on top of the calendar. Between 4 July and 13 September 2026 the Family Summer campaign cut day tickets by 60 percent for anyone under 16 and by 10 percent for guests aged 16 and over. The Schaffelbad ran a parallel 20 percent Summer Special from 6 July to 13 September 2026 at EUR 55.50 per person. Campaign dates are fixed, so check the current window before assuming a rate.

How do you book the cheapest Loipersdorf ticket?

  1. Pick a Monday to Friday date

The ticket shop splits the year into two bands. Monday to Friday is the lower band. Saturdays, Sundays, all Austrian school holidays, nationwide public holidays, bridge days and long weekends fall into the higher band. Shifting a visit from Saturday to Wednesday moves the whole booking, including the Schaffelbad, into the cheaper tariff.

  2. Decide between Erlebnisbad and Schaffelbad

The Thermen- und Erlebnisbad ticket already includes the Saunadorf with its six saunas and the Fun Park with five slides totalling 529 metres. The Schaffelbad costs from EUR 61 per day and adds 15,000 m² with 14 saunas for guests aged 16 and over. Since Schaffelbad entry contains the Thermen- und Erlebnisbad, mixed groups only need one upgraded ticket per adult.

  3. Check whether a regional card applies

The Steiermark-Card discount is 30 percent on the Thermen- und Erlebnisbad day card, the Burgenland Card discount is 20 percent on the adult day card. Only one tariff reduction is granted per ticket, so compare the cards against any active seasonal campaign before you pay.

  4. Ask your hotel for the partner rate

Partner accommodation unlocks 15 percent off day and evening entries at the ticket desk. Some partner hotels sell spa tickets as part of a package and add a weekend or holiday surcharge of EUR 8.50 to EUR 11.50 per card, so compare the package price with the shop price for the same date.

  5. Buy online, then keep the ticket on your phone

Online tickets are excluded from exchange, return and partial refund, so only buy once the date is fixed. The ticket is shown digitally and no printout is needed. The cash desk opens daily at 07:00 if you prefer to pay on site.

What extra costs catch visitors out?

The entry price is not the full bill. Parking sits opposite the resort and is paid locally, subject to availability. Losing the chip watch and the receipt was billed at EUR 150 on the price list dated 25 December 2022, so keep both together. Food and drink run across eight restaurants and bars inside the resort, none of it included in the ticket.

Add-ons are priced per booking. Thermencheck lists private spa use with a whirlpool tub from EUR 190 for two people and the Mondscheinschwimmen evening from EUR 27 per person. That night swim runs on the first Friday of each month until midnight, and the Thermen-Clubbing on the third Friday does the same. The Thermen- und Erlebnisbad was closed for maintenance from 21 to 23 December.

Is Loipersdorf expensive compared with other Austrian spas?

Against the largest urban benchmark, Loipersdorf reads mid to high. Therme Wien quotes a day entry with locker from EUR 34.00 and a guaranteed-entry ticket from EUR 46.75, with prices valid from 1 September 2026. Its Business Class package is EUR 109.00 and a therme plus massage combination is EUR 91.00. Loipersdorf's Schaffelbad, at EUR 61 per day, sits above all of the standard Vienna tariffs.

The comparison is not like for like. Loipersdorf counts 35 pools, 20 saunas and five slides across 60,000 m², and the thermal water reaches 36 °C. Therme Wien runs a Monday offer where one child aged 3 to 7 enters free per adult, excluding Viennese school holidays and public holidays beyond the summer break. Families chasing slide time pay more in Styria, families chasing a cheap city soak pay less in Vienna.
