Skibex: Frequently Asked Questions
Why rent here rather than a piste-focused shop?
Skibex names freeriders and ski tourers among its target groups, so touring bindings and wider skis are part of the core range rather than a side line.
Does it rent snowboards?
Yes. Snowboards sit alongside skis, poles and boots in the Skibex rental range, which covers both hire and outright purchase.
Where is it?
Skibex trades in Lech am Arlberg in Vorarlberg, inside the Ski Arlberg lift network that also covers Zurs, Warth, Schrocken, Stuben and St. Anton.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Beginner and intermediate piste sets are available at Skibex, though its clearest advantage over rivals shows in off-piste and touring equipment.
How do you reserve?
Contact details for Skibex are published on the official Lech Zurs ski rental page, and peak-week freeride stock should be reserved well before arrival.
What do Google Maps visitors say about Skibex?
Skibex visitors on Google Maps often mention: "Top ski rental and super nice staff!"
