Sportalp: Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this shop for?
Sportalp fits visitors staying in Lech who want a short walk to collect gear rather than a transfer to a larger store on the Tyrolean side of the pass.
What can you rent?
Skis, boots, poles and snowboards are the standard lines at Sportalp, with serviced test equipment available during the main winter season.
How does it compare with the big chains?
Sportalp runs one outlet, so it cannot match a multi-branch operator on stock depth, but the counter-to-fitter ratio is usually better in quiet hours.
Is it listed by the tourist board?
Yes. Sportalp appears on the official Lech Zurs ski rental page, which is the authoritative list of licensed rental outlets in the village.
Does it serve snowboarders?
Snowboards and boots are part of the range at Sportalp, alongside alpine ski sets for piste use in the Ski Arlberg area.
What do Google Maps visitors say about Sportalp?
Sportalp visitors on Google Maps often mention: "Cool selection, extremely friendly, top ski service!"
