Austrian ski huts are on-mountain inns and restaurants reachable from marked pistes, lifts or winter hiking trails. They range from timber alpine huts serving regional dishes to glass-walled summit restaurants with toque ratings from Gault Millau. Most open only during the winter and summer lift seasons and take table reservations by phone.
