ALL-IN Card White vs ALL-IN Card Gold: Which Is Better?

Ski amadé sells two season passes: the ALL-IN Card White for winter only (10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027) and the ALL-IN Card Gold, which runs to 8 October 2027 and adds summer lift use. As of September 2026, both cover the same 760 km of pistes and 270 lifts, both carry a pre-sale deadline of 4 December, and Gold costs more. Skiers who never ride lifts in summer should take White.

What exactly is the Ski amadé annual pass?

Ski amadé does not sell one "annual pass". It sells two long-duration tickets. The ALL-IN Card White is the winter season pass, valid from 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027 for the 2026/27 season. The ALL-IN Card Gold is the true 12-month card, valid from 10 October 2026 to 8 October 2027, and it carries the summer benefits of the ALL-IN Card Green on the same plastic. Both cards open every lift run by the member companies across the five member regions during their published operating hours.

The winter scope is identical for both: up to 760 kilometres of piste, 270 lifts and cable cars, and 10 snow parks and funslopes. The member regions for 2026/27 are listed as 12 Gipfel Skiregion (previously named Salzburger Sportwelt), Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig and Großarltal. Terrain sits in Salzburg and Styria, so a single card covers Flachau, Schladming, Bad Gastein and Maria Alm.

How much does the Ski amadé season pass cost?

Ski amadé publishes season pass prices when the pre-sale opens in October, and the discounted rate runs to 4 December. For winter 2025/26 the ALL-IN Card price sheet issued by Filzmoos listed the adult ALL-IN Card Gold at EUR 1,099 in pre-sale, EUR 1,160 at the regular rate from 5 December 2025, and EUR 999 for returning holders using the loyalty bonus. The U25 pre-sale rate on the same sheet was EUR 867. Treat those figures as the 2025/26 benchmark, not a 2026/27 quote.

The loyalty bonus is the part worth planning around. Anyone who bought an ALL-IN Card White or Gold in 2024/25 or 2025/26 receives EUR 100 (adults), EUR 50 (U25) or EUR 30 (youth and children) off the 2026/27 card. It arrives by post or email in autumn and is redeemed at the moment of purchase. Add the EUR 3 KeyCard deposit if you do not already hold a card.

How do you buy and activate the pass?

  1. Buy inside the pre-sale window

The pre-sale rate for the ALL-IN Card White and Gold runs from October until 4 December. For the 2025/26 season the cut-off was Thursday 4 December 2025, and the same December deadline is advertised for 2026/27 by member resorts such as Zauchensee. Buying on 5 December or later moves you to the regular rate, which cost EUR 61 more for adults in 2025/26.

  2. Choose White or Gold

White ends on 2 May 2027. Gold runs until 8 October 2027 and rolls the summer ALL-IN Card Green benefits into the same card, including sports equipment transport on participating cable cars. Summer use of the Dachstein glacier cable car, the suspension bridge and the ice palace is not part of the Gold card.

  3. Load a KeyCard or order a new one

Existing KeyCard, Friends Card or Family Member Card holders enter the card number printed on the back in the Ski amadé Online Ticketshop and the product is loaded onto that chip. New cards are posted out. A new KeyCard carries a EUR 3 deposit.

  4. Register the photo and identity data

Season cards are personal and non-transferable, and a photo is required. Young family cards need proof of a shared main residence plus an official family document (for example a Meldezettel), and they are shared alternately by the two parents.

  5. Check regional child rules before travel

Minis born 2021 or later ski free across Ski amadé, but a paid Minicard is needed at Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and at Ski Rittisberg in Ramsau am Dachstein. Free Minicards for multi-day tickets and the ALL-IN Card White are issued only at lift ticket offices, not online.

When is the SuperSkiCard the better buy?

The SuperSkiCard is the wider alternative sold alongside the ALL-IN Cards at the same ticket desks. For 2026/27 it covers 23 ski regions across five federal states, quoted at up to 2,843 kilometres of piste and 946 lift installations, with the same 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027 window. That is roughly 3.7 times the terrain of the Ski amadé network for people who ski beyond Salzburg and Styria.

The trade-off is price and focus. A SuperSkiCard Premium tier exists, and only that tier carries the U25 band (born 2001 to 2007); the standard card runs adult, youth (2008 to 2010) and child (2011 to 2020). If your winter is spent on the Planai, in Gastein or around Flachau, the extra regions add cost you never use. If you chase snow across provinces, the ALL-IN Card White locks you out of everything outside the five member regions.

What do buyers most often get wrong?

Three mistakes recur. First, missing the 4 December pre-sale deadline, which cost adults EUR 61 in 2025/26. Second, assuming Gold is a full summer product everywhere: the Dachstein glacier cable car, the suspension bridge and the ice palace sit outside the summer entitlement. Third, treating the card as a household item. It is personal and non-transferable, and lift staff check the stored photo.

A fourth trap is timing. The White card stops on 2 May 2027 while some Ski amadé lifts still turn in autumn, so an October ski day in 2027 needs the Gold card (valid to 8 October 2027) or a separate ticket. Day and multi-day tickets for the coming winter go on sale from 31 August, which is earlier than most people check.

Which dates and age bands apply for 2026/27?

The 2026/27 age bands are fixed by year of birth: adult 2000 or earlier, U25 2001 to 2007, youth 2008 to 2010, child 2011 to 2020, mini 2021 or later. The young family card applies where a non-skiing child was born in 2024 or later, and both parents share one card alternately.

Season windows differ by card. White: 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027. Gold: 10 October 2026 to 8 October 2027. For reference, the 2025/26 equivalents were 11 October 2025 to 3 May 2026 and 11 October 2025 to 9 October 2026. Individual resorts open and close inside those windows, so the card is valid only during each ski area's own operating dates.
