SuperSkiCard vs Ski amadé: Which Is Better?
As of September 2026, the SuperSkiCard is the wider ticket and Ski amadé the cheaper one. The SuperSkiCard covers 23 ski regions and 2,843 km of piste from 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027, with a 2025/26 adult pre-sale price of EUR 999. Ski amadé's ALL-IN Card White covers 760 km in five regions and includes the whole area without any travel between provinces.

How much does each option cost, and when do prices jump?
The SuperSkiCard publishes hard numbers early. For winter 2025/26 the Premium season pass cost EUR 999 for adults in pre-sale, EUR 858 for U25, EUR 733 for youth and EUR 483 for children, with the standard adult rate of EUR 1,145 applying from 5 December 2025. Sales opened on 27 September 2025 in the online shop and at participating ski area ticket offices. For 2026/27 the adult pre-sale figure is reported at EUR 1,049, so budget roughly a 5 percent increase year on year and check superskicard.com before booking.
Ski amadé prices its ALL-IN Card White and Gold through the online ticket shop rather than a single fixed list. The lever that matters is the loyalty bonus: anyone who held an ALL-IN Card in 2024/25 or 2025/26 gets EUR 100 off as an adult, EUR 50 at U25 rate and EUR 30 for youth and child cards for 2026/27. Add EUR 3.00 KeyCard deposit; the SuperSkiCard deposit ranges from EUR 2.00 to EUR 5.00 depending on the issuing ski area.
Who is the SuperSkiCard genuinely worth it for?
The SuperSkiCard makes sense when your season is spread across provinces rather than one valley. It bundles 23 ski regions on 2,843 km of pistes, including SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, KitzSki, Zillertal Arena, Obertauern, the Ski ALPIN CARD areas around Saalbach and Zell am See-Kaprun, plus the whole of Ski amadé. SalzburgerLand's tourism board counts up to 89 individual ski resorts and more than 800 mountain huts inside the same network.
Two caveats. The Premium pass formally guarantees 15 skiing days between 10 October 2026 and 2 May 2027, although network members have so far allowed holders to keep riding beyond that. And you only recover the EUR 999 to EUR 1,145 outlay if you ski enough days: at an indicative EUR 70 per day ticket, that is roughly 14 to 16 days on snow.
When is a Ski amadé pass the better buy?
Ski amadé wins on simplicity for anyone based in one of its five regions. The ALL-IN Card White runs 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027 over 760 km of slopes, 260 lifts and 10 snow parks and funslopes, which is more terrain than most people cover in a 20-day season. Gastein, Schladming-Dachstein and Snow Space Salzburg are all inside the same ticket, so no upgrade is needed when you change valley.
The Gold version extends to 8 October 2027 and adds summer and autumn lift use for biking and hiking, which suits residents who ride the same cable cars year round. Short-trip visitors are better served by the multi-day ticket: from two days it is valid across all of Ski amadé, while day tickets stay limited to the regional ski area you selected.
How do you buy and load either pass for winter 2026/27?
Fix your ski-day count first
Count realistic days on snow before comparing products. Below about 10 days, Ski amadé multi-day tickets with the Online Early Booking Bonus usually win; above 15 days spread across provinces, the SuperSkiCard Premium starts to pay. Ski amadé sets high season from 19 December 2026 to 26 March 2027, with lower rates before 18 December 2026 and from 27 March 2027 to season end.
Check the age brackets
Ski amadé defines adult as born 2007 or earlier for winter 2026/27, youth as born 2008 to 2010 and child as born 2011 to 2020. The SuperSkiCard uses its own brackets with U25, youth and child tiers, and for 2025/26 toddlers born in 2020 or later travelled free. Bring official photo ID: reduced rates are only issued against proof of age.
Buy in the pre-sale window
SuperSkiCard tickets went on sale 27 September 2025 for the previous season, with the early-buyer bonus for the Premium and the 10-day flexible ticket running to 4 December 2025. Expect a similar late-September opening for 2026/27. Ski amadé opened day and multi-day sales for the coming winter on 31 August, and season passes from the start of October.
Add the photo and the KeyCard
Season passes, 10-day flexi passes and 8 to 14 day SuperSkiCard tickets are personalised with a photo taken at the cable car ticket office. Both products are non-transferable. Budget EUR 2.00 to EUR 5.00 for a SuperSkiCard KeyCard and EUR 3.00 for a Ski amadé one; a my Ski amadé Friends Card can be topped up with the season ticket directly.
Consider cancellation cover
Ski amadé sells a cancellation guarantee for EUR 3.00 per pass per day on multi-day tickets and selected day tickets, refundable without giving a reason up to two days before validity starts. That is worth adding for February half-term bookings made months ahead. The SuperSkiCard price sheets do not list an equivalent product, so check terms at the point of sale.
What mistakes do skiers make when choosing between these passes?
The most expensive error is buying a Ski amadé day ticket and expecting network-wide access. Tickets valid for up to one day are restricted to the regional ski area you picked, for example the 210 km around Snow Space Salzburg, Kleinarl-Flachauwinkl-Zauchensee and Altenmarkt-Radstadt. Only from two days does the pass open all 760 km.
The second mistake is treating the SuperSkiCard as a substitute for a ski-in, ski-out local pass. Its 23 regions stretch from the Kitzbühel Alps to Carinthian glaciers, and reaching several of them means a drive of an hour or more. A third trap: night skiing is not universally included. In Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn only two specified lifts are covered, so check local terms before evening sessions.
What alternatives should you compare before committing?
If your winter sits inside one region, the regional passes undercut both products. The Ski ALPIN CARD links Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn with Zell am See-Schmittenhöhe, Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel, and it is also part of the SuperSkiCard network. Ski amadé multi-day tickets with the Online Early Booking Bonus price dynamically by season, purchase date and demand.
If you ski mostly in Tyrol or Vorarlberg, look outside this pairing. The Tirol Snow Card covers Ischgl, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, Kitzbühel and the Hintertux, Kaunertal, Pitztal and Sölden glaciers at EUR 1,169 for an adult, with an early-bird discount of 12 percent reported for purchases between 27 September and 31 October. The Ländle Card covers 36 Vorarlberg-based areas.
Which options rank highest?
SuperSkiCard
One ticket for 23 ski regions, 2,843 km of piste and more than 900 lifts, valid 10 October 2026 to 2 May 2027. The 2025/26 Premium cost EUR 999 in pre-sale against EUR 1,145 standard, which works out cheaper than day tickets from roughly 15 ski days. The catch is geography: covered areas span SalzburgerLand, the Kitzbühel Alps, Zillertal and Carinthia, so you need a car.
Best for: Season-long skiers who travel between provinces

Returning holders from 2024/25 or 2025/26 get a loyalty bonus of EUR 100 as adults, EUR 50 at U25 and EUR 30 for youth and child.
